Deformation using maps
Given a map like the Standard mapTc[x,y] = [2x+c sin(x)-y,x]we can deform a picture. In the movie below, we see a deformation from c=0 to c=1 if
Tc[x,y] = [ x+c sin(2 Pi x y), y+cos(2 Pi (x-y)) ]
(Unlike the Standard map, this example does not rip the picture apart too badly at first,
only rips the eye off at first).
If we fix the parameter c and map a point again and again, we see an orbit.
