Analytic Surfaces

The book ``Encyclopaedia of Analytical Surfaces" by S.N. Krivoshapko and V.N. Ivanov contains many examples of surfaces. Like biologists classify species, the surfaces are classified. It can be inspiring to look through such a list. Artists, designers or architects can become inspired. The introduction to the book covers basic formulas and contains much of multivariable calculus. It goes a bit further into differential geometry too.
