Einstein: I need some money

Einstein's famous 1905 photograph colorized and animated. There are a few seconds also from the song Money by Cardy B. The part has the lyrics

In this context, it is important to know that Einstein has a few years before 1905 already a daughter, "Lieserl Einstein-Maric" (1902-??), and was in serious trouble for getting money "I got a baby, I need some money, yeah" is really what Einstein must have thought a bit before the time when the photograph was taken in 1905. The year 1905 was the Annus mirabilis in which Einstein contributed four papers to physics.

Einstein has been in Schaffhausen during 1901-1902. (He actually lived a few hundred meters from the high school of Schaffhausen, which I attended). He wrote to his friend Marcel Grossmann: "I'm in the happy position, at least for a year to be free from worries about getting food. I have been engaged from September 15, 1901 as a private math tutor, where I have to prepare a young Englishman for his high school diploma."

Lieserl was born in January/February 1902, a time, when Einstein still worked in Schaffhausen. When Mileva joined Albert in Bern, they got married in January 1903, but Lieserl already has vanished. She probably was left in Serbia with Mileva's family. Mileva had been the only women in the class which Albert attended. After getting pregnant, she withdrew from the program.Source. In a letter from Einstein to Mileva from September 19, 1903, Lieserl was mentioned for the last time. After that nobody knows anything about Lieserl Einstein-Maric. She must have been given away.
