Voynich manuscript
| The Voynich manuscript is an illustrated hand written codex from the beginning of the 14 hundrets. About 240 pages remain. The 170000 character text contains 35000 word with 8114 "word types". Encryption has not yet been successful. It remains a riddle. Recently, there were rumors about ``solutions" but it remains an enigma. The manuscript is publicly everywhere a copy [PDF]. It is still in the public domain (from the 15th century). That might change is somebody will make a movie out of it or patent it. |
