Final exam

Our final exam took place on May 11, 2013, at 9 AM in Science Center E. The exam schedule. We had a final review lecture on May 9, 2013 from 3-4:30 in SC Hall B.

The final had an average of 115/140 = 82/100 with a standard deviation of 12 (on a 100 scale).

Second hourly

The second hourly took place April 11, 2013 at 7 PM in Hall E.

The practice exams have the same structure than the exam. Here are problem types:
Know functions: sin,cos,tan,arcsin,arccos,arctan,polynomials,1/x, exp,log, sinc, sign. Theorems: DSf(x)=f(x),SDf=f(x)-f(0), intermediate value, extremal value, fund thm. of trig Is a function f from A to B invertible or not? Is it even or odd, or neither? Decide about continuity and type of discontinuity (jump, oscillatory, or escape to infinity) Determine limits limx to a f(x), also with l'Hopital's rule Heal a function by dividing out common roots. Especially know (x^5-1)/(x-1)
