Have seen Monster Squad yesterday on halloween. I had not been aware of the movie
until the documentary
Wolfman's Got Nards (2018)
claiming this to be a cult film. And indeed, it is a great movie. No surprise, it is
even covered in film schools as a classic. There are just many elements which make the movie work.
While a kids movie, it is still also fun when watching
it later. Not much math inside, the school scene is not a math lesson, but there is an
encoding of Dracula. The short scene has here cut out just a bit longer to get an idea
why the movie has become a cult movie.
