Quai des Orfevres

In the 1947 movie, the poster shows some triangle construction (there is a love triangle in the movie). Thanks to Craig Smorynski, who suggested the movie.

M4V, Ogg Webm. IMDb link I also looked at the 2004 movie with that name, but which has a completely different plot. (A very nice thriller by the way, very well told story of a deadly competition between two police inspectors. Denis (played by Depardieu) plays the bad guy, framing Leo (Daniel Auteuil) sends him to prison and even kills his wife. There is some math (36) in the title "36, quai des Orfevres" is also called the `The 36' or `PJ' as it is the home of the police judiciaire in Paris. According to this source, Large-scale crimes, drug trafficking, prostitution, racketeering, kidnap, hostage taking, bomb attacks, organized crime and homicides are investigated there. The "36'th Precinct" with Gerard Depardieu displays a prime number: "Dennis Klein, badge number 628049".
