Grades are submitted. There were some fantastic papers. Popular were the Moebius strip, ruled surfaces, minimal surfaces (careful proof that H=0 gives minimal surfaces), proof of Fenchel's theorem (about total curvature) Black hole solutions to the Einstein equations (like the Kerr solution). More samples: detailed proof of Hopf Rynov, some information geometry like metrics on manifolds of probability distributions, the isoperimetric inequality or the Jordan curve theorem.
