Graechen, Saas ground Melchtal ski weeks, Pit Giezendanner obituary
In the fall of 1982 and in the spring
spring of 1983, I participated in a climbing weeks. One in the beautiful Bergell
and one in Bellinzona. I just found old pages about this.
There is also a page about a ski week in Saas Grund.
A ski week in Graechen in 1980 and a ski week in Melchtal of 1982.
In the obituary about Pit below, there is also a story about the 1979 ski week
in Fiesch (where I also had been). It had been a cool ski /cross country week.
One day we skied Fiesch-Oberwald and back to Fiesch which is about a Marathon
distance. I had my trusty skin skis without grip wax.
I also added an obituary of Pit Giezendanner who was for many years leading
the youth organization. I mentioned at some other place his wisdom
"there are only two reasons to be cold. Either you are poor, or you are stupid".
or "there is no bad weather, only bad cloths".
